Harry Potter

I just saw the 7th Harry Potter movie, for being such a huge fan, that took me long enough.

But as the movie began to fade out as Voldemort shot sparks into the air. All I could think about is this series. And how my generation and I have grown up with the books, the movies and the characters. And that after part 2 is released, we will be grown up.

You see the first book came out when I was in Kindergarten I think, I remember reading it in one night with a flashlight underneath my covers.  By the time the first movie came out, I was full blown addicted, as was a lot of my friends and other kids at my school. We grew up waiting for the next book or movie came out, and as the characters and the material got more mature, well so did we. Soon the last movie will come out and we will be graduating. Harry Potter and his friends have been with us for the last 13 years and its hard to believe that they will be leaving us right as we are heading into our first year of college.

But they will still be a part of us forever. We will remember them when our children turn 11, when we have to take a exam that resemble the OWLS or when when the odds are stacked so high against us that it seems like we will never win, it is times like these that we will remember the students at Hogwarts and all they taught us.

Passion

Passion. Passion lies in all of us.
Waiting to rev its engines and speed off, taking us into unknown lands.
Passion rules over all of us and we are its loyal subjects.
For without it, our lives wouldn't have meaning.
It flings us into the joys of love...the pounding of hatred and the overwhelming sense of grief that can fill us all.
Passion is there to guide us through our best moments, and our worst.
It gives us the courage to fling ourselves off that rock into the unknown
Sometimes passion is too much to bear and threatens to consume us.
But we live through it because we know that without passion our lives would be hollow.
Without passion, we  might as well be dead.

Hello fellow multi-cell organisms

This is kinda weird. how small the world gets when you are on a computer. I basically just said hello to the world and it occured to me that a lot of the world, is now on the internet.

It is amazing how much we as a human race has advanced in the past 200 years. So much that I can say hello to the world from the comfort of my home.
